Kilopass has been known for its one-time programmable memory (OTP) technology. The new Itera technology delivers multi-time programmable support and delivers this for 40nm environments. It can provide native programmability with 20nm access times versus technologies like flash that currently scale to 90nm. Its endurance is lower, up to 1K cycles, but this is often more than sufficient for many applications. It does not require additional wafer fab steps making it suitable for a wide variety of devices. It can be used for storage requirements up to 1 Mbit at this point.
