More than 800,000 wafers with Kilopass’ embedded non-volatile memory (NVM) IP have shipped in mobile, consumer, analog/mixed-signal, industrial, and automotive semiconductor products. Kilopass’ NVM technology has achieved broad adoption due to the measurable benefits it provides more than 100 customers. These customers gain greater manufacturing flexibility, improved performance and reduced BOM costs by replacing external EEPROM or NOR flash with Kilopass’ Itera for multi-time programmable (MTP) NVM applications or with Gusto for high capacity one-time programmable (OTP) NVM applications. They achieve higher gross margins through improved yields by using Kilopass’ XPM memory IP for trimming an analog IC, such as a clock chip.
Consumer
Many consumer electronics applications have taken advantage of Kilopass’s embedded NVM technology, such as set top boxes, multimedia SoCs, application processors, gaming, GPS, and storage. High density and standard logic CMOS processing helps lower overall system cost while still retaining design flexibility.
