Kilopass releases non-volatile memory IP

Kilopass Technology Inc. reports that it has released Itera, the industry’s first and only embedded multi-time programmable (MTP) non-volatile memory (NVM) intellectual property (IP). The company is targeting system on chip designers, claiming that they can achieve 70% reductions in cost, 24X increase in performance, and improvements in integration by replacing serial EEPROM and NOR flash in high=volume mobile and consumer applications. Applications include: time stamp, key revocation, firmware updates, and trimming adjustments.
