Presentation Details Kilopass’ New VLT Technology for DRAM Applications
SAN JOSE, CALIF. –– November 2, 2016 –– Kilopass Technology, Inc., the leading provider of semiconductor embedded non-volatile memory (eNVM) intellectual property (IP), was awarded the Best Paper honor at MemCon on October 11 in Santa Clara, Calif.
Bruce Bateman, engineering fellow, presented, “A Novel Bulk Vertical-Layer Thyristor (VLT) Cell for DRAM Applications,” receiving the highest rating from attendees’ track surveys ranking 15 sessions in three tracks. His presentation described the way Kilopass’ new VLT technology eliminates the need for DRAM refresh, is compatible with existing process technologies and offers lower power, better area efficiency and compatibility.
